PMP Name Plates

Nameplates

With almost 30 years of experience across all market sectors, our products are manufactured in-house to the highest standards of British manufacturing.

Metal Nameplates
This can cover a wide range of potential materials and types. We are here to help you identify the best materials, coats and finishes depending on the particular application and environment of use of your products.
Stainless Steel Nameplates

Available in 304 or 316 stainless steel, these nameplates can be etched chemically, or for a more economical solution, we can also offer screen-printed steel plates, where text detail is surface printed.

Anodised Aluminium Nameplates

For an attractive, durable finish, text detail is sealed within the grain of the aluminium.

The aluminium is electrically charged within a sulphuric acid solution which forces the surface to oxidise in a controlled manner and opens the pores.

Ink is then either silkscreen printed or digitally printed into the pores before the aluminium is sealed to provide a hard-wearing finish.

This popular type of nameplate is widely used across many industries, including electronics and assembly, industrial equipment and machine control panels.

Brass Nameplates

A more traditional solution, again these can be etched and infilled or screen printed.

The plates are lacquered for outdoor applications and provide a long-lasting finish.

They are also all available in a range of thicknesses and can be supplied with either self-adhesive tape or fixing holes.

Plastic Nameplates

Printed onto polycarbonate, polyester or acrylic, these provide a durable finish as the text is visible through the material itself.

Acrylic nameplates can be produced on material up to 10mm thick and are laser cut to size to give a good ‘polished’ finish to the edges.

These can be digitally printed for low-volume requirements and, with the laser cutting option, tooling is not required.

Etched Nameplates

Available in a range of materials and finishes, these represent a permanent marking solution; a very durable option for harsh environments and applications, such as construction or offshore.

They are produced by chemically etching the customer-specified detail from the surface of the material. This is then infilled, with customers requested colour, to provide contrast for ease of reading.

No matter the type of equipment or environment you’re working with, our team at PMP is always on hand.
